Downtown Studio

Art Crossing at Riverplace

The name, Art Crossing, reflects both the purpose of the space and the history of the location. The eight studios were built on land which was once part of the Greenville railroad. Rich in historical significance, the area that once housed the railroad has begun to thrive again.

Art Crossing at Riverplace, situated next to the Reedy River, is close to the corner of Main Street and Camperdown Way, in Greenville, SC. Just take the stairs down to the beautiful River Walk. There you'll see the painters, photographers, graphic designers, jewelry makers, potters and sculptor who make up this group.

Hours

Each of the studios is individually operated and maintains different hours. However, since these are working studio spaces, someone is there almost all the time. While some studios are open during regular business hours, many of the artists are nocturnal creatures and are prone to keep late night hours.

Please feel free to stop by the studios. However, if you are in Greenville late at night and drop by, please don’t startle the artists. Feeding them is permissible, however.
